Hi. I am just wondering if insurance covers Invisalign. I definitely don’t want metal braces and if I can get Invisalign over ceramic braces with insurance covering it I would like that. Thanks. Fermin
Fermin – Insurance plans have an overall annual maximum benefit and an annual orthodontic maximum benefit. If your plan includes benefits for orthodontic treatment, it will not completely cover the cost of the treatment. You should contact customer services for your plan or your employer’s human resources department to find out what your plan benefits are for orthodontic treatment.
You will incur out-of-pocket expenses whether you receive clear braces or Invisalign®. But your dentist likely offers payment plans or financing to help make the treatment affordable for you. You can also call your dentist’s office to get more information on financial arrangements for orthodontic treatment.
